Home Made Cavatelli

This week we added homemade pasta kits to the pantry section of our website, and made fresh cavatelli with Mark from Farm to Fork 101.

500 g "00" Flour

500 g Semolina

450 g Cold Water

75 g Olive Oil

Mix ingredients in a bowl until a dough is formed.

Once dough is formed, remove from bowl and transfer to counter.

Kneed pasta dough for about 10 minutes to develop gluten.

Let pasta dough rest for 20 minutes covered with a damp towel to prevent it from drying out.

Form dough into your favorite pasta shape. We chose cavatelli.

Cook pasta in salted boiling water until it floats, about 5 minutes.

Enjoy with your favorite accoutrements!
